Business Analysis
LogiSolve's Business Analysts are the top 10% of BA's available in the
marketplace. Business Analysts are responsible for gathering and translating
the client's business requirements into a functional solution and for carrying
out project activities related to analysis for the implementation of software
by a client.
In the initial stages of a project, the BA will work with the customer and/or
the customer's integrators to agree an analysis approach, bringing with them
knowledge of LogiSolve's Delivery Model.
As the market has many definitions of what a Business Analyst is, LogiSolve has
put together the following overview of skills our BA's are required to
possess.
Major Responsibilities:

Performs the analysis function of a project implementation. Identifies client
requirements, defines the business solution, helps to set scope
boundaries, and provides recommendations for object-oriented
analysis and design techniques. |

Works proactively with internal and external
organizations to ensure project completion. |
|
 |
Interfaces with the project team on all
levels (business representatives, developers, technical architects). |
|
 |
Develops functional software specifications based
on object-oriented design concepts. Deliverable include, but are not limit
to process models, use cases, class models and object sequence diagrams. |

 |
Supports the Project Manager(s) with business analysis planning and
preparation of business plans. |
|
 |
Communicates with Project Manager on project
status and assists in the resolution of critical issues. |
|
 |
Maintains QA responsibility for all business
& business design work. |
|
 |
Assists in sales efforts by providing business
analysis advice on proposed projects and contributing to sales presentations. |
|
 |
Maintains high level of knowledge of the project,
customization principles, and business functionality. |
|
 |
Is knowledgeable of development and project
methodologies, especially the way customer requirements are translated to
project deliverables; and supports continuous improvement of the Business
Analysis methodologies and methods. |

May develop business cases or return on
investment studies for clients. |

Insight and understanding of Object-Oriented
software development projects. |

Business Analysis and Use Case Modeling skills at
a hands-on level on large projects. |

The ability to communicate complex business and

Experience in executing QA / Business Reviews and
troubleshooting complex engagements. |

Demonstrated business knowledge of the Customer
